At Sol Driving School you are beginning with the best. Sol Driving School is a State Certified School, brand new to our area and many of our employees are Bilingual. Our school philosophy is to strive to ensure each student receives the highest quality of driving instruction, by providing them with outstanding, professional instructors. While teaching each student to become a confident, competent, defensive, and safe driver. Our prime objective is to produce “Collision Free” drivers.

Sol Driving School is State Certified to perform the Department of License State Knowledge and Skills tests.

 

Knowledge Test

The Knowledge (Written) test is offered three times a day, Monday to Saturday in both English and Spanish.

9:00am - 10:00am

1:30pm - 2:30pm

4:30pm - 5:30pm

Customers that wish to take the Knowledge Test need to arrive at the Sol Office at either of the testing times and pay the $25 fee.

 

Skills test

The Skills (Driving) test is given by appointment only. Customers that wish to take a skills test must sign up at the Sol Office and pay the $40 fee. We offer the Skills test in both English or Spanish. Customers that are 10 minutes late to their appointment will have their test cancelled and will not be given a refund.

Sol's Driving Program is a six week course that is offered all year long (see schedule). Each course is divided into two classes: Youth and Adults. The Youth program is taught in English and cost $395 per student. The Adults program is taught in Spanish and is $440. Both programs includes the State Knowledge and Skills tests.

 

The Youth course instruction consists of:

30 hours of Class Instruction
5 hours behind the wheel
5 hours of observation
4 hours using a Driver Simulator on computer

 

The Adults course instruction consists of:

15 hours of Class Instruction
5 hours behind the wheel

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS 

Payment methods include Cash, Check, Visa or Mastercard. Customers who pay in full by cash or check during signup will recieve a $15 discount. If making payments, you may secure a spot by pre-registering with a $220 payment, and paying off the balance within 4 weeks of the class start date.  Pre-registering will guarantee yourself a spot in your desired section.  Those students enrolling the first night of class will be given priority by age.  Class sizes are limited.  Drive times will be scheduled on the first day of class.
